I’m an independent film and theatre director and writer from Estonia, drawn to stories about humanity, empathy and the things that make us who we are.

I’m a sucker for cinematic visuals and poetic photography. I move freely between film, documentary and theatre. I’m a hands-on director. I enjoy storyboarding, building visual worlds, painting set pieces and digging into character backstories with actors. For me, directing is about curiosity, collaboration and giving the work everything I’ve got.

I hold degrees in filmmaking and documentary directing from the Baltic Film and Media School and New York Film Academy. I've also studied theatre directing at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (MFA).

I've directed two theatre productions "Threesome Without Simone" (2025) and "Dark shot" (2026). 

My films include the feature documentary Blood Type, several short films and documentaries, and commercial work nominated for Estonia’s Golden Egg Awards. In New York, I worked as an associate producer for VICE Media on the Primetime Emmy-nominated series Woman: With Gloria Steinem.

In 2018, I was awarded the Matthew Modine Masters Scholarship, and in 2015 received a Baltic-American Freedom Foundation internship scholarship.
